About Kitchener
Locally known as “The Gathering” our Kitchener community was birthed in 2010 when a group of men traveled to the Hamilton Dismas Fellowship on a regular basis. It was said that it was worth the drive to Hamilton on the Friday nights the Hamilton group met. Their positive experience in Hamilton led to the formation of a Kitchener initiative. The heartbeat of the group is that all need to experience meaningful community despite our past.
During our time together we share a meal and good conversation. We have a time of reflection, and a time to share together if so desired. We do our best to support each other as we all do life together. Special occasions such as Thanksgiving and Christmas are always a highlight. A warm welcome waits in Kitchener.
